Isn't she beautiful and perfect? She is 21 months old now, and hopefully we will be with her before her second birthday. She has a repaired cleft lip and an unrepaired cleft palate, which we will have repaired here. We are just ecstatic.
Dana at AHH just called to let me know that they got our Letter of Acceptance today! They are putting it in the mail and we will receive it tomorrow. People, this is HUGE! These things can take months and months, and we got ours in only 10 days. Praise God! He is being so faithful to get us to our daughter quickly. I pray that our Travel Approval will come quickly also. We need/hope to travel in September because there is a huge trade fair in Guangzhou in October, which would make travel difficult then.

Hi, Kevin! I have wanted to adopt since I was a child, so I don't feel particularly brave. More like I am fulfilling a life long dream.
On the other hand, I think it takes a fair amount of bravery to parent any two year old...lol. Adding a third child to the mix should make life more interesting.
I look forward to introducing you to my daughter!
